San Francisco-based Heroku, one of the very first cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) providers, will participate in two special events in the Fukuoka region. Morten Bagai, Heroku's Senior Director of Product Management, and Keith Rarick, Heroku's Product Architect, will speak about Heroku and its new Japanese add-on cloud services at the following events:

This is the first ever tech community event in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Morichika Saito, Mayor of Iizuka City, will appear to celebrate this event.
Iizuka, under the slogan of "e-ZUKA, Silicon Valley in Asia", is developing new regional industries and focusing on the revitalization of the local economy.
